PM's cleaning crusade with wrestler: 'all about Swachh, Swasth Bharat vibe'
In a recent episode of 'Mann Ki Baat,' Modi requested that all citizens participate in "one hour of shramdaan for swachhata" on October 1 as a "Swachhanjali" to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined wrestler Ankit Baiyanpuriya in the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign.
The Prime Minister tweeted about it, saying, "Today, as the country focuses on Swachhata, Ankit Baiyanpuriya and I did the same! We included fitness and well-being in addition to cleanliness. It's all about the Swasth Bharat and Swachh Bharat vibe."
PM Modi can be seen in the video chatting to wrestler Ankit about his fitness regimen.
"How much time do you allocate for physical activity?" PM Modi inquired.
"Not much, sir, around 4-5 hours," Ankit said. I workout so much because I become so inspired when I see you."
"I don't exercise much, but I am disciplined." "I am currently lacking discipline in two areas: one is the timing of my meals, and the other is that I need to allocate some time for sleep, which I am unable to do," PM Modi explained.
Prime Minister Modi also thanked the wrestler for "using social media positively."
"You've provided an excellent example of how social media can be used for good." "I've noticed that young people who used to go to the gym are now following your routines," the Prime Minister added.
