PLANNED MURDER
Sakshi died instantly after being bludgeoned with a cement slab after being stabbed more than 20 times. She had 34 injuries on her body, and her skull was broken.
Two days prior to the incident, it is claimed that Sahil had devised the strategy to murder Sakshi. In front of her friends, Sakshi rejected him and refused to mend their relationship. Police had previously stated that Sahil got drunk on Sunday afternoon and confronted Sakshi in the evening while she was changing her clothes in a public convenience on her way to the birthday party of her friend's child.
Sahil spent some time sitting in a nearby park after killing Sakshi. After that, he went to the Rithala metro station and said that he had thrown the knife into the bushes.
He then took a transport from the Anand Vihar ISBT to go to Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, police said. His arrest from Bulandshahr was the result of a call to his residence.
