Google is making its Gemini Live AI assistant available to all Android users for free via the Gemini app. Through the Gemini app, Google is making its Gemini live AI assistant available for free to all Android users. This English-language chatbot, which was first made available to Gemini Advanced subscribers with the Pixel 9 series, facilitates natural conversations. Recently, the Google Gemini team announced in a message shared on the social networking platform X (formerly Twitter) that the Gemini Live chatbot will be available for free to all Android users.

Previously, this new chatbot was available only to Gemini Advanced customers.

The Gemini team at Google wrote: "We're starting to roll out Gemini Live in English to additional users of the Android app at no cost. Join Gemini on Live to discuss issues, learn about a new subject, or exchange opinions. See if the Gemini app has Gemini Live available.

Gemini Live for all Android users: Availability 

As per the release, Android users using the Gemini app can only access the free version of the Gemini Live chatbot in English. The free version of the chatbot will not be available to iPhone users who can only access Gemini Live through the iOS Google app as of right now.

When the free version of Gemini Live becomes available to Android users, they can use it to test the chatbot without having to pay the membership fee. It is anticipated that Google will release Gemini Live for free on additional devices, including iOS, and in a new language.

Gemini Advanced subscription: All the details

At first, access to Gemini Live was restricted to those with a Gemini Advanced membership, which costs Rs 1,950 per month following a free trial. Users may also access Google's most sophisticated AI model, Gemini 1.5 Pro, with this membership.

In addition, Gemini support for Google products like Gmail, "and Docs, Python code for developers, and grants priority access to new features" are also included in the subscription.

Users who purchase Gemini Advanced additionally receive 2TB of Google One storage. Like previous Google One plans, this storage may be used with Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. It also functions as a backup for their devices.
