The Oppo A1 5G went on sale in China on Wednesday, and only one storage configuration is available for purchase. The phone's recent appearance on Geekbench, TENNA, and China Telecom certification sites points to an imminent launch. The Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset powers the A1 5G smartphone, which also features a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W wired SuperVOOC fast charging support. Additionally, a 300W SuperVOOC wired fast charging system with a 4,450mAh battery (the typical 4,600mAh battery) is being developed by the company, according to reports.

The Oppo A1 5G is available for purchase in a single configuration with 256GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,800). Plans for the global and Indian versions of the model have not yet been confirmed by the company.

The phone is available in Caberia Orange, Sandstone Black, and Ocean Blue colors. The Caberia Orange model has textured car stitching and a small leather back panel with a lychee pattern. On Oppo's website, you can pre-order the phone.

The Oppo A1 5G supports dual nano SIMs and has a 6.71-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) LCD display with a pixel density of 391 ppi, a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Additionally, the display has a local peak brightness of 680 nits.

The Oppo A1 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, as well as 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. ColorOS 13, based on Android 13.0, is included with the device.

The Oppo A1 5G has a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and an LED flash panel. On the top left of the back panel, two circular modules that are aligned vertically house the lenses. A hole at the top of the display that is punched in the middle houses the lens of the 8-megapixel front camera.

For security, the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also has Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, and other connectivity options. The handset has dimensions of 165.6 x 76.1 x 8.25 mm and a maximum weight of 193 grams.
