Reliving IPL 2025
Let's look back at one of the most exciting seasons in IPL history before delving into the TATA IPL 2026 Schedule. High scores, thrilling last overs, and even a mid-season delay because of the India-Pakistan dispute were all present in the 18th Indian Premier League.
On March 22, KKR hosted RCB at Eden Gardens to begin off the competition. However, the reigning champions KKR were unexpectedly unable to advance past the league stage. On the other hand, in a thrilling final match versus Punjab Kings, RCB ultimately ended their 18-year curse and won their first IPL title by a mere 6 runs.
Gujarat Titans batsman Sai Sudharsan lit up the competition with an incredible 759 runs, while colleague Prasidh Krishna dominated with the ball, taking 25 wickets.
Due to geopolitical concerns, the season had a dramatic change in dynamics, a mid-season hiatus after May 9, and a return on May 17 with games moved to six different locations. The energy was unparalleled in spite of the difficulties. TATA IPL 2026 was a real rollercoaster for fans, with close finishes, strong performances, and rising stars.

TATA IPL 2026 Points Table
The IPL points table displays which clubs are making progress toward the playoffs and which are having difficulty staying competitive. Fans frequently claim that a single over may alter a game, but in this case, a single run can determine whether a club advances to the next round.
The rule is simple:
• A win = 2 points
• A no result or washout = 1 point
• A loss = 0 points
Net Run Rate (NRR), which makes every ball bowled and every run scored extremely valuable, is used when teams end with the same number of points. Because of this, teams battle to maintain a strong NRR even in one-sided games.
This is how the table appears prior to the action starting:
| Pos. | Teams | Played | Won | Loss | NR | Pts. | NRR |
| 1 | Royal Challengers Bengaluru | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 2 | Punjab Kings | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 3 | Gujarat Titans | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
