Harvinder Singh Wins Gold Medal in Archery Paralympics 2024: Harvinder Singh has won the gold medal in Men's Recurve Archery. He easily defeated Poland's Lukas Cijek 6-0 in the final. This is the 22nd medal overall and the fourth gold at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris. The Indian athlete created history by winning the match in straight sets 28-24, 28-27, 29-25.
In the history of the Paralympics, Harvinder Singh is now the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal in an archery discipline. In the Tokyo Paralympics, he had previously set a new record as well. He was the first archer from India to win a bronze medal at the Paralympics at that point. Let us tell you that this is India's second medal in archery at the Paris Paralympics.
