The EliteBook Ultra G1q series has two main configurations, differentiated by their processors. The G1q features a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite processor, which is more powerful than the 8-core Snapdragon X Plus engine found in the G1q8. Both versions use Qualcomm's inbuilt Adreno GPU for graphics processing and have up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, in addition to a maximum PCIe NVMe storage capacity of 1TB.

Most importantly, these laptops are extremely lightweight and have an all-day battery life. Both the 8-core and 12-core variants enable HP Fast Charge and have a maximum battery life of 26 hours. With HP Fast Charge, the laptops can be charged 50% in just 30 minutes. With its lightweight of 2.97 pounds and slim 14.4mm profile, the laptops' portable design and long battery life complement each other.

The EliteBook Ultra G1q series has next-generation functionality with an NPU that can execute up to 45 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second). This enhances Copilot and other AI-powered features and lowers battery consumption. Better video call experiences are made possible by HP's Poly Camera Pro technology, which integrates the NPU directly into features like Auto Frame, Spotlight, and virtual backdrops. To defend against threats and secure sensitive data, the laptops also come equipped with Microsoft Secured Core PC capabilities and high-end endpoint security protections like HP Wolf Pro Security.

The 14-inch diagonal, 2.2K resolution display on both laptops has ultra-wide viewing angles and 100% sRGB colour gamut. The touchscreen and brightness options are where the biggest differences exist: the 8-core model has two touch options (300 nits or 400 nits) while the 12-core model has two touch options (non-touch 300 nits or 400 nits).

Nothing is known about the price and release date of these laptops. It is known that the HP web store will stock them as soon as the pre-orders open or the release date is announced. The remarkable battery life of the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q is mainly due to its ARM architecture, which has several drawbacks, such as restricted app compatibility. Source: hp
