Indian women's team is prepared to play Pakistan in Sunday's Women's ODI World Cup 2025 match in Colombo. The men's squad from India defeated Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final just a week ago.
Because of the political tensions between the two countries, there were many contentious moments during the continental tournament, which pitted the bitter rivals against one another three times.
The women's squad, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, is now poised to provide cricket fans worldwide with yet another exciting Sunday. Prior to the eagerly awaited game, Pakistan captain Fatima Sana praised the team's chemistry and reminisced about her happy World Cup experiences.

At the pre-game press conference, Fatima stated, "I thought we had a great relationship with them at that point." It is clear that Harmanpreet Kaur is an experienced and veteran player. It's amazing how she leads the squad with such high hopes. She makes a significant contribution on the field and is a very influential player, according to Fatima.
She can also defend and hit when necessary. Fatima reassured that despite the score against India, Pakistan is not deterred and is still committed to doing everything in their power to carry out their plan.
