Look Back 2024: Swiggy has released its 2024 report, which includes a list of the most ordered favorite dishes. Biryani remained the most favorite dish this year as it was in 2023. From January 1 to November 22, 2024, 8.3 crore biryanis were ordered on Swiggy. Apart from this, dosa remained in second place, which was ordered 2.3 crore times.

According to Swiggy's report, 8.3 crore biryani orders were placed in India from 1 January 2024 to 22 November 2024, making it the most favourite dish. According to Swiggy, 158 plates of biryani were ordered every minute in the country. Hyderabad ranked first with the highest number of biryani orders at 97 lakh.
Quick delivery service Bolt also made headlines
According to the Swiggy report, the most ordered dish after biryani was dosa, with 2.3 crore orders between January 1 and November 22, 2024. The platform's quick delivery service, Bolt, also made headlines, such as delivering three flavors of ice cream in 3 minutes in Bikaner. This year, Rasmalai and Sitaphal ice cream were the most liked sweets.
Man spends 50 thousand on pasta
According to Swiggy's annual report, pasta was also among the favorite food of customers this year, and a user from Bangalore spent Rs 49,900 on pasta dishes of different tastes. The report also stated that the most favorite dish ordered between midnight (12 to 2 am) was chicken burger, while biryani was at second place.
The year was full of delicious adventures
This Swiggy report shows that the delivery partner who delivered the most orders in 2024 was Kapil Kumar Pandey from Mumbai, who completed 10,703 deliveries. Apart from this, among the female delivery partners, Kalishwari from Coimbatore topped the position with 6,658 orders. Siddharth Bhakoo, Chief Business Officer of Swiggy, described this year as full of delicious adventures and praised the delivery partners as the unsung heroes of 2024, who traveled 1.96 billion kilometers in completing their tasks.
