South Africa announces Test squad for India tour... Captain Bavuma returns, 3 spinners included in squad

South African team is scheduled to play a two-match Test series against India at home, starting November 14th. The South African squad for this series was announced on Monday, October 27th. Captain Temba Bavuma returns to the team, having missed the Pakistan tour due to a left calf injury.

South Africa's 15-member squad includes three spinners: Senuran Muthusamy, Keshav Maharaj, and Simon Harmer. All three are also adept at contributing with the bat. This is a good sign for South Africa. The team also boasts pace options in Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, Wiaan Milder, and Corbin Bosch.
During their tour of Pakistan, the South African team tied the two-match Test series 1-1. Pakistan won the first Test in Lahore by 93 runs. South Africa then made a strong comeback, winning the Rawalpindi Test by 8 wickets. In the absence of Temba Bavuma, Aiden Markram led the South African team in this series.

Temba Bavuma (captain), Corbin Bosch, Dewald Brevis, Tony de Zorzi, Zubair Hamza, Simon Harmer, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, Wiaan Mulder, Senuran Muthusamy, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, Tristan Stubbs, Kyle Verreynne.
The first Test match between India and South Africa is scheduled to be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata from November 14th. The second and final Test match will then be played at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati from October 22nd. Following the Test series, the two teams will also play 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.
