Users on the Rs 299 prepaid plan, which offers 1.5GB data per day, are the target audience for this campaign. Customers without a 5G plan can also enjoy affordable, unlimited 5G connectivity with this coupon.
Jio's rate hike on July 3, 2024, which increased the qualifying criteria for unlimited 5G service, came before this action. In the past, Jio's Welcome Offer could be activated by consumers with any plan costing at least Rs 239. Plans with 2GB or more of data per day, like the Rs 349 plan, were the only ones eligible for unlimited 5G services after the change.
In July, the new upgrade plans were unveiled, enabling subscribers on non-5G contracts to access unlimited 5G. Among these are booster packs that cost Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151. Every subscription includes unlimited 5G access as well as extra 4G data. 3GB of 4G data is available with the Rs 51 plan, 6GB with the Rs 101 plan, and 9GB with the Rs 151 plan.
The Rs 601 voucher is being promoted by Jio on its MyJio app as a "gift" for uninterrupted connectivity. The software allows users to buy and activate it directly. However, only customers on plans costing Rs 299 or more are eligible for the voucher.
Jio has also made available reasonably priced standalone data-only plans. With 10GB of data for an hour, the new Rs 11 plan is the most affordable in the portfolio. Other options priced at Rs 49, Rs 175, Rs 219, Rs 289, and Rs 359 are also available, but none of them include voice or SMS capabilities.
Jio is lowering the cost of 5G access and giving customers the freedom to improve their connectivity without incurring large price increases by launching these truly unlimited upgrade plans and standalone data options.
