When Pakistani Star Fawad Khan Apologised To Indian Fans For Making Them Wait For His Return

Fawad Khan, a Pakistani celebrity, is unquestionably well-liked in India. With his popular Pakistani drama series Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which also starred Sanam Saeed, he won over millions of Indians in 2014. And we all knew whose Khoobsurat we fell in love with when Fawad Khan appeared in Bollywood with it, headed by Sonam Kapoor. His roles in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Kapoor & Sons won over many more hearts.

Following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, which caused the Fawad Khan film Aabeer Gulaal to miss its May 9 release date in Indian theatres, there has been a prohibition on Pakistani artists working in the Indian film industry ever since.
Sardaar Ji 3, directed by Diljit Dosanjh and starring Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, suffered the same fate and was only released abroad.
Aabeer Gulaal, which also stars Indian actor Vaani Kapoor, was released worldwide on Friday, September 12. According to unverified rumours, the movie would be released in Indian theatres on September 26.
When Fawad Khan apologised to his Indian fans for keeping them waiting for so long, here is a flashback. In the eerie series Barzakh, which was aired on ZEE5 in India, the Pakistani beauty sensation starred last year.
