The Geekbench listing for the Asus ZenFone 10 suggests the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and more: Report
By the fourth quarter of 2023, the phone is expected to be available for purchase.
The ZenFone 10, which has been dubbed Asus's next premium ZenFone offering, appears to be on schedule for release. The ZenFone 10 has appeared in a new release uncovering its equipment particulars, which included insights concerning its camera alongside a send-off course of events too. The release of the Asus ZenFone 10 is supposed to happen in the final quarter of this current year. The upcoming phone has shown up for the first time on the benchmarking website Geekbench, giving us an idea of how well it will perform and confirming some information that had been leaked.
MySmartPrice discovered a device with the model number "ASUS_AI2302" on Geekbench, where it also claimed that the handset in question is the forthcoming Asus ZenFone 10. The ZenFone 10 achieved a maximum single-core score of 2,008 points and a maximum multi-core score of 5,568 points in three of the company's benchmarking tests using version 6.
The phone's operating system, which is listed as Android 13, is also mentioned in the listings. The listing's CPU information seems to back up a previous leak that said the Asus ZenFone 10 had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The phone that was tested had 16 GB of RAM.
The previous leak, which did not cite any sources, stated that the phone would have a maximum of 16GB of RAM and would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It was also said to run the Android 13 operating system and have up to 512 GB of internal storage.
Although no details about the phone's design have been made public yet, it is anticipated to have a larger 6.3-inch AMOLED panel with a maximum screen refresh rate of 120 Hz. This further suggests that Asus may have finally given up on its compact design. The AMOLED display on the current ZenFone 9 model is smaller at 5.9 inches.
The Asus ZenFone 10 is said to have a 200-megapixel essential camera, which appears to be a move forward from the 50-megapixel double camera arrangement on the Asus ZenFone 9. Additionally, an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance is anticipated for the phone.
Asus has not been excessively intense about cell phones, save for its ROG gaming cell phone setup. Despite debuting in global markets, the ZenFone 9 was not made available for purchase in India. The leaked specifications make it clear that Asus is working on a premium flagship that is well-equipped and aims to revive and reboot its ZenFone brand with the most cutting-edge hardware.
