Thursday saw the announcement of the NEET-UG exam results, which were retested following a paper leak. 11.21 lakh of the approximately 20 lakh students who took the tests were eligible for medical admission.
Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana are two of the highest scorers, with scores of 715. The third, fourth, and fifth place finishers nationwide were Uplakshya Goyal from Rajasthan, Ayush Bhalotia from Bihar, and Kudale Shravani Krishna from Maharashtra.

Delhi's top scorer was Kashi Dhal (all India rank 24), and Karnataka's top scorer was Vaishnavi Das (all India rank 20).
Overall, 138 candidates received scores higher than 690, and 19 candidates received scores of 700 out of 720. Furthermore, 1,492 pupils had scores higher than 650.
