The Bloodline vs. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens, a French Canadian, opened WWE Backlash from France and had a huge response. Next was Randy Orton, whose song was well known to the French audience in both English and French.

Following a ferocious brawl, Kevin Owens gave random security guards Stunners to use in the bout. The crowd erupted as Nick Aldis announced that the rules would now be a street fight, and he shouted it in French.

Kevin Owens hilariously landed a frog splash on Tama Tonga. Orton went on, hinting at a frog splash of his own, but then he just quietly moved aside from the barrier.

Early on, Tama Tonga was receiving a "welcome to the WWE"-style beating. When Tonga added a kendo stick to the contest to go along with trash can lids, he received his comeuppance.

Tama Tonga was hit with an RKO by Randy Orton. When Tanga Loa unexpectedly showed up, it appeared as though Orton and KO would win, but instead, The Bloodline prevailed thanks to a Thumb Strike on Kevin Owens.

Bloodline vs. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton Rating: B+

Naomi and Tiffany Stratton were defeated by Bayley.

There were loud cries of "Hey Bayley" for Bayley and "Tiffy Time!" for Tiffany Stratton. Sadly, Naomi remained unserenaded.

Throughout, Tiffany Stratton and Bayley's competing cries were essentially a two-horse race, but Naomi won over the audience with her fiercely physical and aggressive moments.

It appeared as though this Triple Threat was attempting to match the Street Fight's level of intensity from the first encounter. And boy, did they come close, even without the need for guns.

Bayley used a rollup on Naomi to win this fiercely contested bout. After, Naomi gave Bayley a congrats. I believe Naomi would have turned heel if this had happened in the United States.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Bayley vs. Naomi Grade: B

Priest Damian Def. Jey Uso

The New Bloodline and Jey Uso had a silent but powerful conversation backstage.

JD McDonagh entered the ring, much to his involvement on Raw that resulted in The Judgement Day. This created a much-needed doubt about Priest's ability to prevail.

When Priest and Uso are punching each other, the French supporters have learned to yell "yeet/no yeet."

The WWE World Championship nearly went to Damian Priest because to interference on Judgement Day. Priest fought back, using a South of Heaven from the top rope to defeat Uso.

Priest and JD McDonagh, two other Judgement Day members, got into a heated argument after this battle.

In a lengthy statement, WWE French analyst Philippe Cherau declared that WWE Backlash had the biggest live arena gate in the company's history.

Kabuki Warriors Are Defeated by Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair

Jade Cargill should wrestle for the WWE championship at this early stage of her career, according to Corey Graves. This is untrue. In his debut match, Santino took home the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The fan base had a strong affinity for Bianca Belair and truly came alive during her and Cargill's heated moments.

The Kabuki Warriors, who were working over Bianca Belair while Jade Cargill was neutralised on the sidelines, made a lot of rapid tags. This resulted in a hot tag that was extremely warm.

Cargill made an excellent hot tag, starting with a cross-body springboard into the ring on both Kabuki Warriors members.

A military press was mistimed by Cargill and Sane, but Cargill saved some face with a standing spinebuster. Sane wasn't legal; therefore, referee Dan Angler dismissed a pinfall account. Since Asuka kept hanging out on the apron before clumsily tagging in, I believe this was a set.

There were a couple awkward moments in the middle, but Belair and Cargill's stereotypical power bomb helped the women get back on the same page.

Kairi was flipped six ways by Jade Cargill on Sunday before she became Jaded. It was the match's best location.

Cody Rhodes Def. AJ Styles

Since there was still an hour on this PLE and it was just 12:10 pm PST, there were a number of ads prior to the main event.

The ring attire worn by AJ Styles was a reference to his NWA Championship bout with Dusty Rhodes.

A seemingly never-ending pro-AJ chant was sung by the crowd in support of AJ Styles. The camera was trembling at times. Evidently, the word "phenomenal" was involved in the chant.

Even after Cody's song ended, fans continued to sing along to every word.

Chants of "Stardust" were heard when Cody performed a return spot to the band Stardust.

Cody lifted Styles in the air for a postponed superplex, but he dropped him during an awkward superplex moment.

Even though the audience was amazing, it appeared that they were more focused in chanting than watching the match.

The fans went into a complete frenzy when Cody Rhodes kicked out at one and AJ Styles nailed a Burning Hammer. It's the first place I can remember seeing something similar in a WWE ring.

On a Cody Cutter to AJ, Rhodes overcorrected, but it looked great. Rhodes won the match with a cross Rhodes after that.
