Google said on July 15 that students in India who are 18 years of age or older can now sign up for a free one-year subscription to the company's AI Pro plan.

Among other capabilities, this includes having access to the video generating tool Veo 3 in Gemini and Flow, as well as tools like Deep Research with Gemini 2.5 Pro and NotebookLM, which offers five times more access.
Two terabytes (TB) of Google Cloud storage are also included in the package. For students, this annual package, which typically costs ₹19,500, is now free.

Students can sign up and find out more about eligibility by visiting the official offer page, according to the company. By September 15, 2025, eligible students must finish their registration in order to be eligible for the free one-year subscription.

The Gemini 2.5 Pro received 70 points. Along with announcing an update to NotebookLM, Google recently unveiled "Featured Notebooks," a carefully selected collection of works produced in association with publishers, writers, scholars, and nonprofit organisations.
