Google said on July 15 that students in India who are 18 years of age or older can now sign up for a free one-year subscription to the company's AI Pro plan.

Students can sign up and find out more about eligibility by visiting the official offer page, according to the company. By September 15, 2025, eligible students must finish their registration in order to be eligible for the free one-year subscription.

OpenAI's o3-pro came in second with 71 points, while xAI's most recent model, Grok 4, came in first with 73 points on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, which evaluates an AI model's performance across seven evaluations in various domains like math, reasoning, coding, and more.
The Gemini 2.5 Pro received 70 points. Along with announcing an update to NotebookLM, Google recently unveiled "Featured Notebooks," a carefully selected collection of works produced in association with publishers, writers, scholars, and nonprofit organisations.
