Preparations are in full swing for the wedding of music composer-filmmaker Palash Muchhal and Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana. The couple is set to tie the knot on November 23rd. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a letter to the couple offering his best wishes.
In his letter, PM Modi congratulated both families. He also wrote a poetic message for the couple. "As they begin a beautiful new life together, the beauty of Smriti's cover drive and the sweet symphony of Palash's music create a wonderful partnership," he wrote.
PM Modi further wrote, "It is wonderful that a friendly cricket match has been arranged between the groom's team and the bride's team. We wish both teams victory in this game of life."
Smriti and Palash will be tying the knot in Sangli village, Maharashtra. Many prominent figures from the cricket and entertainment worlds are expected to attend this high-profile wedding.
Members of the women's team have already arrived to attend the wedding. Smriti's close friend, Jemima Rodriguez, shared a glimpse of the ceremony on Instagram. In the video, they are seen dancing with Smriti.
