Ponting Backs Rohit-Kohli
Legendary Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting has cautioned fans against making too much of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's mistakes in the first One-Day International between India and Australia in Perth ahead of the series' second match.
Ponting said he was confident the two Indian greats would get back to their best and be serious contenders for the ODI World Cup in 2027.
Both Rohit and Kohli just need time to recover from a prolonged hiatus, Ponting warned, cautioning against discounting seasoned champions.
