Maha Kumbh: 66.30 crore devotees from India and abroad took a dip in the Ganga and Sangam during the Maha Kumbh Mela which began on January 13. Maha Kumbh was also in the news for its cleanliness, in which sanitation workers played an important role.

Mahakumbh was also in the news for its cleanliness in which sanitation workers played an important role. The stampede on Mauni Amavasya in Mahakumbh Mela tarnished its image a bit, but this incident did not have any significant impact on the faith of the devotees and people continued to come continuously. 30 people died in the stampede.
