Pakistan vs Bangladesh, Pakistan is set to host the Bangladesh cricket team for a 2-match Test series in Rawalpindi starting on August 21. The hosts will play their first Test series after a disappointing loss against Australia in 2023. On the other hand, the Bengal Tigers are also coming off a 0-2 Test series loss against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan's record on home soil in the Test series has not been commendable, as they have been without a win at home since 2021. With crucial World Test Championship (WTC) points at stake, both sides would want to overcome their poor form to get closer to the top half of the WTC points table.
While Bangladesh is placed eighth, Pakistan is placed sixth with 2 wins out of 5 matches played so far. Both matches are scheduled to start on August 21 and August 30 respectively.
