Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo launched his YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 21. Fans of the former Real Madrid star flocked to YouTube to subscribe to his channel and learn about his life behind the scenes. The crowd was so great that Ronaldo broke the YouTube record for the fastest 1 million subscribers. Ronaldo achieved this feat in just 90 minutes.

Not only this, Ronaldo's channel now has over 11 million subscribers in less than a day of its launch. The football star announced the launch of his YouTube channel through his social media account, where he has a lot of followers.

"The wait is over. Finally, my @YouTube channel is live! Subscribe and join me on this new journey," Ronaldo posted on social media.

Within a few hours of posting his first video, 1.69 million subscribers joined the channel.

One of the all-time greats in football, Ronaldo is currently a Saudi Pro League player with Al Nassr. The footballer did not lead his team to victory at the recent Euro 2024, although he played for them. At the age of 39, the football legend is nearing the end of his playing days. He has shown no signs of slowing down due to his exceptional physical condition, but his ability to score goals has diminished. The best example of this was Ronaldo's failure to score from inside the box during their European campaign, which his team desperately needed.

Ronaldo is expected to gradually get involved in content creation and other businesses after retirement.
