Mumbai Indians players ran away leaving training

The Mumbai Indians team shared a video on social media site X showing players leaving the pitch because of the storm. In this, Rohit Sharma is shouting loudly, comeback, comeback. In the video, Deepak Chahar, coach Mahela Jayawardene and Lasith Malinga come running out of the field. 

When the cameraman focuses on Rohit, Rohit says, what are you showing me? Show it (storm). In another video, fast bowler Trent Boult is seen running at lightning speed after the storm.

Mumbai team is at number 8 in the points table

Mumbai Indians team has played a total of five matches in IPL 2025 so far, winning one and losing four matches. With two points, its net run rate is minus 0.010. It is at number 8 in the points table. The team will now play the Delhi Capitals on April 13 in their next game.

Hardik Pandya did not play in the first match

The Mumbai Indians team was unable to play as a cohesive unit during the current IPL season. In the first match, regular captain Hardik Pandya did not play due to the ban, then Suryakumar Yadav took over the captaincy. After this Hardik Pandya returned as captain, but the team's luck did not change. 

The team still has 9 matches left in the season and it will have to perform well in the remaining matches to reach the playoffs.
