Tickets can be booked from the reservation center located at Meerut City Station Cantt and University Campus. The fare of chair car from Meerut to Varanasi will be Rs. 1540.
Meerut. There is good news for the passengers going from Meerut to Ayodhya to see Lord Shri Ram and then to Varanasi, the land of Lord Vishwanath. The railway has started the reservation process for the Vande Bharat Express train going from Meerut to Varanasi via Ayodhya Dham from 27 August.
This can be done from the reservation centers located at Meerut City Station, Cantt and Chaudhary Charan Singh University campus. The process of reservation through internet started from Thursday night. If you have to go from Meerut to Ayodhya, then the fare for chair car without food will be Rs. 1295 and for Varanasi it will be Rs. 1540.
On Thursday, the time table of Vande Bharat Express 22489 going from Meerut to Varanasi was also uploaded on the app providing information about trains. Earlier, after August 25, no reservation and status information about this train was being given on the railway app.
The railways had released its time table on July 2, but this information was uploaded on the internet app on Thursday. With this, its reservation also started. To go from Meerut to Varanasi, one will have to pay 375 for catering facility in chair car and 310 more for Ayodhya.

The fare of executive class from Meerut to Varanasi including catering facility is Rs 3525. This includes Rs 470 for catering. Chair car from Varanasi to Meerut including catering facility will be Rs 2140 and Rs 3765. The fare from this fare and railway reservation center will be even less.
Varun Goyal of Jailchungi VK Computer and Sumit Gupta of Shastri Nagar, who made online reservation at Jailchungi, said that many people applied at night itself. Vande Bharat has a total of 478 seats in chair car and 52 seats in executive class. Currently, this train is going to Lucknow.
More than half of the seats in it are going empty. Railways has suffered a loss of crores. Now, with the operation of the train to Lord Ram's city Ayodhya and Lord Vishwanath's land Varanasi, the interest of passengers towards the train will increase.
The train will cover the distance of 782.22 km from Meerut to Varanasi in 11 hours 50 minutes. This train will take 11 hours 55 minutes for return. The train will depart from Meerut at 6:35 am and reach Ayodhya Dham at 3:53 pm and Varanasi at 6:25 pm. The train will depart from Varanasi at 9:10 am and reach Meerut City Station at 9:05 pm.
