Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are excited to film Anurag Basu's 'Metro... In Dino,' and the couple believes the director is a "treat to work with."
Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are looking forward to concluding production on Anurag Basu's forthcoming film "Metro... In Dino." The celebs were speaking at the FDCI Hyundai India Couture Week when they walked the runway for Shantanu & Nikhil, a designer partnership.
Actors Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur, who will act in Anurag Basu's next film 'Metro... In Dino,' have expressed excitement over the film's completion. The actors were speaking on the sidelines of the FDCI Hyundai India Couture Week here on Monday when they walked the runway for designer team Shantanu & Nikhil.
Aditya described the filming of 'Metro... In Dino' as a "fun few days." He previously worked on the 2020 film 'Ludo' alongside Basu.
"We've begun filming, and most of the work is still ahead of us... I'm excited to see what happens next. Anurag Basu is a pleasure to work with. "It's always a pleasure to work on his sets," the star of 'The Night Manager' told PTI.
"It's been a short schedule, but I can't wait to get into more of it and hope to get on set with Sir soon," Sara Ali Khan, whose most recent release was 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,' added.
Sara Ali Khan wore a beautiful pink lehenga with elaborate embroidery, while Aditya wore an ivory sherwani.
Shantanu & Nikhil debuted 'Etheria,' their 2023 bridal couture collection, which was inspired by the duo's travels around Italy, particularly a place named Catania in Sicily.
"Inspired by the grandeur of Roman palaces, a seamless fusion of Indian and Roman influences creates a tapestry of magnificence that ignites the imagination," wrote the designers in a collection note.
The women's apparel collection featured exaggerated extravagant veils combined with bejeweled capes and gloves, as well as party dresses that the designer revisited with a magnifying glass. The menswear featured magnificent three-piece layering with tuxedos embellished with crystals and gorgeous glass beads.
Aditya and Sara walked to 'The Power of Love,' by Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, and Nikhil claimed he got the idea to utilize the song after hearing it on an audio streaming service.
"We get a lot of inspiration from music." We settle down in my office and listen to Spotify. Andrea Bocelli was performing one day when I was draping a shirt and said, "OK, let's set the tone for the show." So that's how it occurred," the designer said to PTI.
The other models, on the other hand, went down the runway to dramatic instrumental renditions of rock songs including "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Believer," "Rollin' in the Deep," "Phantom of the Opera: Overture," and "Sweet Child of Mine."
'Etheria's' color palette included black, blue, scarlet, maroon, beige, and nude, as well as metallic bronze gold, and pastel green.
