Usha Vance to Ivanka Trump: Inauguration Day fashion is won by monochromatic magic
Ivanka Trump's and Usha Vance's monochromatic ensembles were among the many fashionable moments of Inauguration Day.

The Capitol Rotunda in Washington, DC, on January 20, the day of Donald Trump's inauguration, had a monochromatic fashion aesthetic. Ivanka Trump, Jill Biden, and Usha Vance promoted monochromatic styles with their sophisticated wardrobe selections.
When her husband, JD Vance, was sworn in as the Vice President of the United States on Inauguration Day, Usha Vance looked chic.
The US Second Lady, Usha Vance, wore a pink Oscar de la Renta outfit that included a custom cashmere coat and scarf to stay warm but fashionable. She accessorised her ensemble with bold floral earrings and suede boots in blush tones that went well with the muted colour scheme. She also carried a small, neutral-colored clutch and wore matching gloves.

Her hair was secured in a sleek bun, and she wore very little makeup.
Usha was born in California, but her roots are in Andhra Pradesh. In 2013, while attending Yale Law School, she got to know JD Vance. After graduating from Yale Law School, the couple married in 2014 and now have three kids together.
Usha, a successful trial attorney who has experience at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in San Francisco and Washington, DC, has played a key role in her husband's political career.
Usha and her husband, JD Vance, hosted a special dinner at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, ahead of Inauguration Day. Usha made a fashion statement in a gorgeous strapless gown.

During Inauguration Day, First Lady Melania Trump wore a tailored coat, skirt, and blouse with a statement hat, creating a sharp and edgy look. Given that it was designed by New York-based designers Adam Lippes (outfit) and Eric Javits (hat), her ensemble was a blend of American styles. But by subtly incorporating white into her ensemble, she avoided the monotone appeal altogether.
At Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony, Ivanka Trump opted for a monochromatic ensemble, cutting a stylish figure in a forest green pencil skirt and an asymmetrical jacket, accessorised with a sleek black belt, green hat, and black heels.
Jill Biden, the former first lady, also made a bold fashion statement in a Ralph Lauren outfit in purplish-blue.
In the same purplish-blue hue, she wore a belted overcoat, gloves, and heels to complete the monochromatic ensemble.
