KCET Counselling 2025 Begins: Final Seat Matrix, Activated Option Entry Link
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET/UGCET) 2025 counselling process has formally begun, with the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) activating the online portal for option entry. The official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, is now open for eligible applicants to view the most recent information and start submitting their course and college preferences.

Registered applicants can now prioritise their preferred academic programs and institutions by using the KCET 2025 choice entry portal. at addition, the KEA has released the final seat matrix, which lists the number of seats available at Karnataka's participating engineering, agricultural, and other professional colleges.
Earlier, a preliminary seat matrix was made available to applicants to aid in strategically planning their choices. Candidates must scan the QR code on their verification slip using the link on the KEA portal in order to access their options.

This comes after the KEA closed the opportunity for downloading the application editing and verification slips on July 4, 2025, so that candidates could check their information and fix any mistakes before going on to the counselling stage.
The final seat matrix will determine how many of the 77,068 engineering seats available for distribution in the first round of KCET BTech counselling. Furthermore, 3,350 seats have been set aside for admittance to the agriculture program, providing students with a multitude of possibilities.
