At the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the inaugural National Creators Award.
20 categories were covered by the awards: Most Creative (male and female), Best Storyteller, Disruptor, Green Champion, Best Creator for Social Change, Most Impactful Agri Creator, Cultural Ambassador, Best Travel Creator, Swachhta Ambassador, New India Champion, Tech Creator, Heritage Fashion, Best Food Category Creator, Best Education Creator, and International Creator Award.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement that the prize is an attempt to reward quality and impact across a variety of sectors, such as gaming, storytelling, environmental sustainability, campaigning for social change, and education.
WHO WERE ALL AWARDED?
Several social media personalities were given honours by Prime Minister Modi during the occasion, including American YouTuber Drew Hicks and motivational speaker Jaya Kishori.
- Award for Best Creator for Social Change went to Jaya Kishori.
- Kabita Singh of Kabita's Kitchen was awarded the Best Creator in Food Category Award.
- Drew Hicks won the Best International Creator Award.
- Award for favorite travel creator went to Kamiya Jani.
- The recipient of the Disruptor of the Year Award was BeerBiceps' Ranveer Allahbadia.
- Most Creative Creator-Male Award recipient RJ Raunac (Bauaa) accepted the honor.
- Shraddha Jain was the recipient of the Most Creative Creator (Female) award.
- Award for Best Micro Creator went to Aridaman.
- Nishchay was awarded the Best Creator in Gaming Category Award.
- Ankit Baiyanpuria won the Best Health and Fitness Creator Award.
- The award for Best Creator in the Education Category went to Naman Deshmukh.
- Heritage Fashion Icon Award recipient Jahnvi Singh was given the honour.
- Presenting the Swachhta Ambassador Award was Malhar Kalambe.
- Presenting the Best Creator in Tech Category Award was Gaurav Chaudhary.
- An award for Cultural Ambassador of the Year was given to Maithili Thakur.
- Presenting the Favorite Green Champion Award to Pankhti Pandey
- As the recipient of the Best Storyteller Award, Keerthika Govindasamy
- Award recipient Aman Gupta received the Celebrity Creator Award.
After receiving over 1.5 lakh nominations in 20 different categories, the winners, three of whom are international creators were chosen.
Subsequently, over 10 lakh votes were cast during the voting phase in support of digital innovators in several award categories.
