The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has granted Starlink a Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS) licence, and the company is prepared to begin operations in India. The setup kit is expected to cost Rs. 33,000, based on the reports.
It should be noted that in order to access the satellite communications network, the setup kit will be necessary. According to the reports, those who want to sign up for Starlink's unlimited data plans may have to pay between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 4,000 each month.
