India has opened its medal account in Paris Olympics. Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has created history by winning bronze medal in shooting. She won bronze medal in 10 meter air pistol event and thus became the first Indian shooter to win medal in Olympics. Manu scored total 221.7 points in the final. This was India's first medal in the current Paris Olympics. Also, this was India's fifth medal in shooting in the history of Olympics. Korean players Oh Ye Jin won gold (243.2 points) and Kim Yeji (241.3) won silver medal.
