"Mitti me mila denge," Yogi declared. In just 50 days, the murder of Umesh Pal to the encounter with Atiq's son
On February 25, a day after an electrifying homicide, Uttar Pradesh Boss Priest Yogi Adityanath sounded an admonition, saying, "Iss mafia ko mitti me mila denge." In somewhere around 50 days, four of the five denounced in the homicide case had been killed. After Atiq's son was killed in an altercation on Thursday, the remarks made by the UP Deputy CM sum it all up.
Iss home mein keh raha hoon Is the mafia me mila denge?"
On February 25, a day after Umesh Pal, a lawyer and key witness in a murder case, was shot dead in broad daylight outside his Prayagraj home, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated these words in the Assembly.
In the murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal in 2005, Umesh Pal was a key witness.
In just 50 days, three separate encounters with police have resulted in the deaths of four of the five people involved in Umesh Pal's murder.
And Keshav Prasad Maurya, Yogi's deputy, summarized the developments since his vow on February 25 following the Jhansi encounter on Thursday.
THE THREE POLICE ENCOUNTERS
Atiq Ahmed, a feared gangster who is one of the main suspects in both murders, is currently in jail. His son was one of the two people killed in an encounter on Thursday.
Atiq has been sentenced to life in prison for the kidnapping of Umesh Pal in 2007.
On February 24 of this current year, legal counselor Umesh Buddy was shot dead in Prayagraj. Umesh's family charged Atiq, his better half Shahista Parveen, sibling Ashraf, Atiq's child Asad, and others of killing him, as Umesh Buddy was the vital observer in the Raju Buddy murder case.
The murder in the early morning was caught on camera. Five men were identified as being involved in the crime by the police: Vijay Chaudhary alias Usman, Arbaaz, the driver of the assailants' vehicle, Asad Ahmed, the son of Atiq Ahmed, Ghulam, Asad's assistant, and Guddu Muslim.
Since the day of the murder, all five had been on the run, but the UP Police were following them.
Arbaz was killed in a fight on February 27, two days after Umesh Pal was killed. Then, at that point, Vijay Chaudhary was gunned down in Prayagraj on Walk 6.
The matchup in Jhansi on Thursday marked the third in the same series.
ATIQ ADMITS HE HAS BEEN CRUSHED
In connection with the murder of Umesh Pal, Atiq Ahmed, who is facing more than 100 criminal charges, was transported by road from the Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad to a prison in Prayagraj, more than 1,000 kilometers away, on March 5.
While he was coming, Ahmed addressed journalists from inside the police van. He begged the government to spare his family members, who are also being investigated in a number of cases.
"Hum government se kehna chahte hain, bulkul mitti me mil gaye hain," the statement reads. "Ab hamari auraoton and bachchon ko pareshan na karein." "Please don't bother the women and children of my family now," Ahmed stated. "I want to tell the government that I am completely reduced to dust."
An encounter with the UP STF resulted in the deaths of Atiq's son Asad Ahmed and his assistant Ghulam a day later.
Guddu Muslim, the fifth accused in the murder of Umesh Pal, is still in hiding.
Atiq Ahmed, his wife Shahista Parveen, his son Asad, his younger brother Ashraf, and others are named in the police FIR that was filed following the murder of Umesh Pal.
'MITTI MEIN MIL GAYE,' SAYS DEPUTY CM
Atiq Ahmed was shipped off legal care for 14 days on Thursday by a Prayagraj court. Asad is currently dead. In addition, Ashraf is imprisoned in Bareilly. Shahista Parveen is slipping away.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, Yogi Adityanath's deputy, praised the police for their encounter with Asad and his assistant in Jhansi on Thursday, almost 50 days after the fiery speech.
"The government will hunt out people involved in such crimes even from the netherworld," Maurya said, "This is New India's new Uttar Pradesh."
He said the killing of Asad was "insight about alleviation for individuals of Prayagraj and UP."
Aaj ye mitti mein mil gaye "They have been crushed to the ground today," Maurya, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated.
