One of the best cricket captains in history, MS Dhoni, was rarely spotted using a cell phone. Few people even have Dhoni's phone number, as his teammates and other close friends have disclosed in multiple interviews. All things considered, he is one of the few celebrities that enjoy avoiding their cell phones. Given this, it is hardly surprising that a video showing Dhoni using his phone during a training session went viral. The cricket player in the video was wearing batting pads and had his kitbag next to him. After setting the helmet down, he grabbed his cell phone. He scrolled on in the device for some seconds before putting is back to its place.

The internet has been outraged by the footage, with some even claiming that Dhoni lied when he claimed in an interview that he doesn't use his phone too often.
"Yes, I have a phone, but I just use it to set my alarm for the evening. "It wakes me up in the morning," the cricket player had stated in a 2023 interview at the GapUp platform launch, which was sponsored by Rigi.
"Lied in the interview saying he doesn't use phones only uses them to set an alarm to wake up," a fan wrote in reference to Dhoni's assertion. "Yes!"
Another fan, meanwhile, added, "Just Clearing Notifications."
As they saw the video, some of Dhoni's admirers were astounded by his level of fitness.
One of the fans commented, "Man, he looks super fit and muscular," The statement "Look at the biceps" was also included.
Dhoni will play for the five-time champion Chennai Super Kings in the 2025 Indian Premier League. Prior to the IPL 2025 auction, the team paid Rs 4 crore to retain him.
