After this, KKR's innings faltered and the team lost four wickets for 97 runs. After this, captain Shreyas Iyer played a steady innings and scored his first fifty of this season, but after scoring a half-century, he also lost his wicket.

In the end, Ramandeep Singh played a quick innings due to which KKR was successful in setting a strong target for RCB. Ramandeep scored unbeaten 24 runs in nine balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. Andre Russell gave good support to Ramandeep from the other end and Russell returned to the pavilion unbeaten after scoring 27 runs with the help of four fours in 20 balls.
