Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that a blast at The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru's Whitefield neighborhood on Friday left at least nine persons injured.
Around 1:30 pm, during the bustling lunch hour, when people from surrounding offices usually congregate, the explosion happened.
The explosion location is under seal until the authorities do their investigation. Scenter dogs and forensics officers are there as well as fire personnel.
Nine persons have been hurt in the explosion thus far, according to Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara, who was speaking to reporters.
When the forensics team arrived to conduct an investigation, police officers from the HAL, Whitefield, and Indiranagar police stations were among those present.

At first, it was thought that a cylinder blow had caused the explosion.
According to local Kannada news station TV9, among the nine injured are hotel employees.
The cafe is well-known for its South Indian food and is situated in east Bengaluru.
