A car explosion near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening created panic. The intensity of the blast was so high that a part of the car fell on the Red Temple located near the Red Fort. The glass of the temple was shattered and the doors and windows of many nearby shops were damaged. Many people have died in this incident.

Immediately after the blast, fires were reported in nearby shops. Tremors were felt as far as the Bhagirath Palace area of ​​Chandni Chowk, and shopkeepers were seen calling each other to inquire about the situation. Several buses and other vehicles were also reported to have caught fire. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred in Delhi.
