Bollywood Actor Pankaj Tripathi's brother-in-law died and his sister was seriously injured in a road accident.
Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi: Saturday's car accident on GT road claimed the life of Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi's brother-in-law Rakesh Tiwari, while his sister Sabita Tiwari was seriously injured.

The actor's brother-in-law was "brought dead" at the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad, where the couple was taken shortly after the tragedy. In response to the accident, his sister broke her leg, although she is not in danger, according to SNMMCH Emergency HOD Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gindauria, as reported by PTI.
The couple's automobile collided with a road barrier at approximately 4.30 p.m. on the Delhi-Kolkata National Highway-2 in Nirsa Bazar, according to a police officer reported by news agency PTI. Sabita is reportedly receiving care at the Dhanbad Medical College Hospital. The duo was reportedly on their way from Bihar to West Bengal's Chittaranjan.
The CCTV clip demonstrated how the automobile ramped into the divider and is making the rounds on social media. The extent of the car's damage demonstrates how serious the collision was.
Rakesha and Sabita were taken from the automobile following the collision by the police, who were assisted by residents, and taken to the Dhanbad Medical Hospital. Emergency medical personnel declared Rajesh Tiwari dead; his wife is still receiving care.
The reports stated that Rakesh worked for the Indian Railways and was based in Chittaranjan. Hindustan Times said that the pair was going back from his Bihar village, citing family members.
The actor, who most recently starred in Murder Mubarak and Main Atal Hoon on Netflix, lost his father in August of last year. Additionally, the family released an official statement saying, "Pandit Banaras Tiwari, the father of Pankaj Tripathi, has passed away with heavy heart. He spent his ninety-nine years in good health. His immediate family will complete his final rituals today. Pankaj Tripathi is currently traveling to his Gopalganj hometown."
