Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 vs Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Market for foldable smartphones is growing rapidly since all major Android smartphone manufacturers have released the latest models of foldable smartphones in recent years. Google has launched the company's first foldable smartphone Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold in India. Earlier, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 earlier this year.

Display and Design (DD)
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a 6.3-inch OLED cover display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phone is 5.1 mm thin when opened and weighs 257 grams. The 8-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 2700 nits.
Weighing 239 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is slightly less bulky. The phone features a 7.6-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, it has a similar 6.3-inch AMOLED cover display, which also supports a 120Hz peak refresh rate. Both the screens on the Z Fold 6 support a peak brightness of 2600 nits.
Performance
Google Pixel 9 Fold Pro features Google's latest Tensor G4 chip as well as the Titan M2 security chip. It has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the other hand, the Z Fold 6 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Both smartphones currently run on Android 14 and are promised updates for seven years.
Camera
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). It also has a 10.5MP ultra-wide camera at f/2.2 and a 127-degree field of view. Apart from this, there is a 10.8MP telephoto camera with OIS, 5x optical zoom and 20X Super Res Zoom. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a 10MP selfie camera on the corner of the display, while the Z Fold 6 has a 4MP camera, which is below the display.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 also has a similar triple camera setup at the back. It has a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 85-degree field of view. It also includes a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view and a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Both smartphones come with a 10MP cover screen selfie camera.
Battery
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a large 4650mAh battery that supports 37W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging. At the same time, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 4400mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Z Fold 6 also supports 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
