MCC provides notification for withdrawn applicants in NEET PG counselling 2023.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published a notification about NEET PG Counselling 2023. This announcement has serious consequences for candidates who have willingly resigned from their positions.

PRIOR NOTIFICATION FROM MCC

On September 12, 2023, the MCC issued a notification addressing the matter of resignations by PG applicants who had obtained seats through round 2 of state counseling. Following multiple petitions, the MCC agreed to accept resignations with forfeiture for the benefit of the applicants.

RESIGNATION WINDOW

To meet this decision, the MCC set a deadline for candidates to quit. Candidates might quit and lose their security deposits between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on September 13, 2023.

SEAT MATRIX UPDATE

The vacant seats created by these resignations were quickly included in the seat matrix for round 3. This phase enabled qualified individuals to apply for the newly available vacancies.

EXPERT PERSPECTIVE

"The MCC has issued an important notice regarding NEET PG Counselling 2023, which directly affects applicants who have resigned from their assigned seats." According to medical counselors, persons who have voluntarily resigned would be classified as ineligible to participate in Round 3 of therapy," stated Anubhav Garg, Counsellor and Founder of TAB INDIA.

"This development emphasizes how crucial it is to make thoughtful decisions during the counseling process because leaving a position might have long-lasting effects," he stated.

"It serves as a reminder to applicants to consider their options carefully and consult with professionals before making such a significant decision." Aspirant medical professionals must make well-informed judgments in order for the NEET PG Counselling 2023 process to remain alive and evolving," he noted.

INELIGIBILITY FOR ROUND 3

The MCC has recently indicated that applicants who resigned during this stipulated window will be unable to participate in round 3 of NEET PG counseling 2023.

The responsible authority made this judgment based on specific factors, enabling these candidates to choose state quota seats. It's worth mentioning that resignations were not authorized during the therapy program.
