BJP MP Tejasvi Surya ties knot with Carnatic singer Sivasri Skandaprasad
Tejasvi Surya and Sivasri complemented each other on their wedding day by dressing modestly and traditionally.

The couple was blessed at the ceremony by a number of prominent BJP figures, including Union ministers V Somanna and Arjun Ram Meghwal, party state president B Y Vijayendra, and BJP MPs and MLAs.

Bengaluru: Tejasvi Surya, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and the MP for Bengaluru South, married Carnatic classical singer Sivasri Skandaprasad in the city on Thursday.
The traditional chanting of Vedic hymns accompanied the wedding.
BJP MPs and MLAs, Union ministers V Somanna and Arjun Ram Meghwal, party state president B Y Vijayendra, and other prominent BJP leaders attended the ceremony and bestowed blessings on the couple.
Sivasri, a bioengineering graduate with a master's degree from Chennai Sanskrit College, was rumoured to be Surya's spouse earlier this year.

Most people know Sivasri Skandaprasad from her songs in the "Ponniyin Selvan" film series directed by Mani Ratnam. Sivasri Skandaprasad was born on August 1, 1996. Her father, Mridangam maestro Seerkazhi Sri J. Skandaprasad, is her father.
Having studied bioengineering at SASTRA University, Sivasri Skandaprasad has experience with drug-induced developmental or fatal defects. Additionally, she has a diploma from the PVA Ayurvedic Hospital in Ayurvedic cosmetology.
Sivasri Skandaprasad is also the creator and director of 'Ahuti,' a platform intended to create a "stronger and visionary young India through e-training and experience programs."
