Twitter introduces Verified Organizations worldwide and will provide free blue ticks to the 10,000 companies with the most followers.

It's over. for a great many people who partook in Twitter's "valuable" blue tick for nothing, as the stage gets ready to roll out a few significant improvements to the manner in which its confirmation works. In an effort to assist "organizations and their affiliates in distinguishing themselves on Twitter," Twitter recently launched Verified Organizations globally. Elon Musk, Twitter's new chief, as of late affirmed that the element had been carried out worldwide. In order for businesses to maintain their blue tick under Verified Organizations, they will need to subscribe to Twitter Blue. The same thing would set you back $1000, or roughly Rs 82,000.

Twitter rolls out Verified Organizations globally

The global rollout of the Verified Organizations feature was confirmed by Twitter's official handle. The tweet read, "Confirmed Associations is another way for associations and their members to separate themselves on Twitter." " Organizations that sign up for Verified Organizations have full control over vetting and verifying accounts with which they are affiliated, so they don't have to rely on Twitter to determine which accounts should be verified.

It adds that accounts that are "affiliated" with the organization will have the organization's logo displayed on a badge on their profile.

"Accounts that are affiliated with the organization will have their affiliation highlighted on the organization's Twitter profile and will receive an affiliate badge on their profile with the organization's logo. "Before they can join verified organizations, all organizations are screened," the post states.

Musk wrote in the same post that to avoid impersonation, it is essential to "establish if someone actually belongs to an organization or not."

Companies exempted from the monthly fee

According to reports, a few organizations probably won't need to pay the month to month charge of Rs 82,000 to remain checked on Twitter. According to a report in the New York Times, the platform will provide the blue tick for free to 10,000 businesses with the most followers. The report also mentions that the 500 advertisers who spend the most money on Twitter will keep their blue tick mark for free.

Musk announced features that non-verified Twitter users will lose

Elon Musk recently also gave a list of features that will only be available to verified Twitter users. After April 15, you will no longer be able to participate in polls if you are a non-verified Twitter user. In addition, your tweets will not appear in recommendations, which can significantly reduce your reach. The owner of Twitter believes that this is the only way to "address advanced AI bot swarms taking over," which would otherwise be a "losing battle."

"On April 15th, only verified accounts will be eligible to be in For You recommendations," Musk wrote in a tweet. The threat posed by advanced AI bot swarms can only be addressed this way. Otherwise, the battle is hopeless. For the same reason, polling places will require verification."

However, what about those who opt to subscribe to Twitter Blue for their bot accounts? According to Musk, as long as they adhere to Twitter's guidelines and "don't impersonate a human," those are "okay." Musk stated in another tweet that the accounts a user directly follows will also be displayed under "For You."
