A true fitness enthusiast, Shilpa Shetty Kundra never fails to motivate us with her challenging training regimens, and Monday was no different. Our Monday mood was immediately lifted when the 49-year-old actor gave us a preview of her rigorous workout to start the week off on a positive note.

Shilpa keeps challenging herself by doing weight training and yoga, and she recently showed off an enjoyable yet effective method for building strength and stamina. On Monday, Shilpa shared a picture from her intense workout on Instagram. A video of herself performing Gliding Knee Tucks was tweeted by her with the caption, "Core's on fire, but so is my determination."

Steps to perform gliding knee tucks

  • Start by placing both feet on socks, sliders, or towels in a high plank position. Use your core.
  • Your hands should be right beneath your shoulders, and your body should be in a straight line from head to heels.
  • Slide your feet forward while bending your knees towards your chest by tucking them in and using your core strength.
  • Push your feet slowly back to the starting plank position to extend your back while keeping stability and control.
  • Maintaining a tight core and preventing your hips from sagging, repeat the exercise as many times as necessary.
