Kejriwal thanks the Chief Minister of Kerala for speaking out against opposition leaders' "illegal arrests."
Arvind Kejriwal said thanks to Pinarayi Vijayan for keeping in touch with PM Modi against supposed abuse of focal test organizations against non-BJP pioneers, explicitly referencing AAP pioneer and Kejriwal's helper Manish Sisodia.
Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister, thanked Pinarayi Vijayan, his Kerala counterpart, on Tuesday for speaking out against the "illegal arrest" of opposition leaders in the country. Following Pinarayi Vijayan's letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which she specifically mentioned AAP leader and Kejriwal's aide Manish Sisodia's alleged misuse of central probe agencies against non-BJP leaders, Kejriwal made the comment.
"Manish Sisodia is an elected representative of the people and has been appearing before the investigating agencies in response to their summons," Pinarayi Vijayan wrote in his letter to PM Modi. Except if the capture was a basic for forestalling the obstacle to the examination, the positive demonstration would have been to keep away from it."
He continued, "Nothing incriminating like cash seizure has taken place in the case of Shri Sisodia, as per information coming out of the public domain."
In addition, the Kerala Chief Minister stated that while the law must take its course, it is equally essential to dispel the widespread perception that Sisodia was being targeted for political reasons.
Pinarayi Vijayan stated, "As we emphasize the principle of cooperative federalism, excessive actions on the part of anyone concerned should be avoided."
Manish Sisodia was captured by the CBI regarding the Delhi alcohol strategy case. A CBI court ordered the Delhi deputy chief minister to spend 14 days in judicial custody until March 20. He was then sent to the Tihar jail.
