Kanhaiya Kumar attacked in Delhi: During an election campaign in his area on Friday, Kanhaiya Kumar, the Congress's candidate for Lok Sabha from North East Delhi, came under attack. A few people approached him with the intention of garlanding him, but instead, they gave him a good beating.

The miscreants also mistreated Chhaya Gaurav Sharma, a female councilor for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). She reported the incident to the police.

Sharma claimed in her complaint that her husband was pulled aside and intimidated and that her scarf had been stolen.
According to the complaint, three or four women were among the people hurt when black ink was thrown at the gathering.
In North East Delhi, Kanhaiya Kumar, the INDIA bloc candidate, is running against Manoj Tiwari of the BJP.
