ZIM vs. IND, 4th T20I Details

Jaiswal's innings (93* off 53 balls) were crucial for India against Zimbabwe in this match. To date, Indian batsmen have struggled to find rhythm in the early part of the innings, however, on Saturday, Jaiswal played with full force and led India to victory. The batsman played shots freely, hitting 13 fours and 2 sixes, which helped Gill (58* off 39 balls) play a patient innings, which helped the left-handed batsman.

The innings were also significant from Jaiswal's point of view, who is in direct competition with Abhishek Sharma, who hit a hundred in the second T20I of the game.

The openers easily chased down the target set to them on a beautiful batting deck in Harare. This was the first time the batsmen were able to dominate the powerplay against the new ball, and the Zimbabwe batsmen would be cursing themselves after failing to capitalize on a first-wicket stand of 63 runs.

After an early onslaught by openers Wesley Madhevere and Tadiwanashe Marumani, Zimbabwe was not able to maintain their momentum in the middle overs of the game. Ravi Bishnoi and Washington Sundar continued to bowl well for India and were well supported by part-timer Abhishek Sharma, who bowled 3 overs himself and took 1 wicket for just 20 runs.

Apart from Ravi Bishnoi, the other five bowlers also took wickets, with Tushar Deshpande and Abhishek Sharma taking their first wickets in their international careers.

India is getting stronger in this series, the full effect of which was seen today when Zimbabwe performed brilliantly in all three departments of the game. After this match, India has to play another T20 match, which will be played on the same ground tomorrow.
