Gangster Atiq Ahmed was transported to the Naini Jail in UP safely, and his court hearing was held on Tuesday.
On Monday, Atiq Ahmed was safely transported to the Naini Central Jail by UP Police. In the case of the kidnapping of Umesh Lal, the politician-turned-gangster will be brought before a Prayagraj court.
In spite of tight security measures, Atiq Ahmed, a gangster who has become a politician, was safely transported to Naini Central Jail in Prayagraj by Uttar Pradesh Police on Monday evening. Atiq will be brought before a Prayagraj court on Tuesday after being taken from the Sabarmati jail in Gujarat.
In the 2005 slaying of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) legislator Raju Pal, Atiq Ahmed is the main suspect. He is mentioned in more than one hundred criminal cases, including the most recent murder of Umesh Pal.
After being accused of orchestrating the kidnapping and assault of real estate businessman Mohit Jaiswal while he was in prison in Uttar Pradesh, Atiq, a former MP for the Samajwadi Party from Phulpur, was moved to Sabarmati jail in 2019 on an order from the Supreme Court.
Atiq Ahmed's move to the UP jail was characterized by the following events:
01:-On March 28, Atiq Ahmed will be brought before the Prayagraj court regarding the Umesh Pal kidnapping case in which he is an accused.
In addition, the Uttar Pradesh Police have applied to a Chief Judicial Magistrate's court for permission to question Atiq Ahmed regarding the murder of Umesh Pal. The gangster-turned-politician was accused of having new evidence, according to the police.
02:- A vehicle with the caravan of police conveying Atiq Ahmed hit a cow in the Shivpuri region of Madhya Pradesh recently while the guard was going to enter Jhansi en route to Prayagraj. The incident occurred around 6:30 in the morning.
The car made a brief stop following the incident before continuing its journey.
03:-Reporters asked Atiq Ahmed, who was wearing a white turban if he was "afraid" when he got out of the police van to attend to nature's call on his way to Prayagraj. He responded, "kahe ka dar" (what fear), before being whisked away by police officers.
Notably, Ahmed expressed concern that he might be murdered on his way to Prayaagraj after leaving the Sabarmati central jail in Ahmedabad on Sunday evening.
04:-Ashraf, Atiq's brother, was taken to the same Naini Jail in tight security arrangements hours after Atiq did. When the court is likely to issue an order in a case involving the kidnapping of a 17-year-old, Ashraf, who is also a gangster and politician, will also be brought before the Prayagraj court with his older brother.
