Who will be the next chief minister of Delhi? These leaders are strong candidates, as is Parvesh Verma.
Sahib Singh Verma's son, Parvesh Verma, is the front-runner for the chief ministership after defeating AAP heavyweight Arvind Kejriwal and emerging as a giant killer.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) high command began considering names for the chief ministership following the historic victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, which ended the 27-year drought. According to the sources, a formal meeting to discuss the likely names will be called shortly by the saffron party.
The 'giant slayer' Parvesh Verma of the BJP, who defeated former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency, is leading the race for chief minister, according to the sources. However, Verma stated on Saturday that the next Delhi chief minister will be chosen by the party's leadership. Verma defeated AAP national convener Kejriwal by a margin of 4,089 votes in the New Delhi seat. This seat was won by Kejriwal in 2013, 2015, and 2020.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa's name stands out among the Sikh faces. He might be chosen by the party to target the Punjabi and Delhi Sikh communities. With over 18,000 votes, Singh won the Rajouri Garden Assembly seat in the Delhi elections.
Kapil Mishra, the winner of the Karawal Nagar seat, is the third name in the race. In order to please Purvanchal voters in the nation's capital, the party may have chosen him. He is also favoured by party elders due to his stance on Hindutva-related matters.
Rekha Gupta is another name in the CM race; she won the seat of Shalimar Bagh by a margin of 29,595 votes. Her name aligns with the BJP's dedication to women's empowerment.
In the race to become the next chief minister is Virendra Sachdeva, the president of the Delhi BJP, whose leadership made history by undermining the AAP's dominance in Delhi.
