Kalki 2898 AD became the biggest film of 2024 by crossing 700 crores

Kalki has been at the box office for a week now and is setting new records every day. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, the film was released in theatres on June 27 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
According to the information released by the producers, Kalki has collected 400 crores gross in all languages at the domestic box office. Talking about its worldwide collection, the film has collected 700 crores gross till July 2. The film has made many new records in the global and domestic markets.
Kalki one-week-collection
After 'Bahubali 2', Nag Ashwin's directorial Kalki has become the second biggest film of Prabhas' career. On the opening day, the film collected a total of 98 crores in all languages, while worldwide it earned 191 crores and 50 lakh rupees. On the second day, the film earned 65 crores.
On the third day, it earned 75 lakh 77 crores. On the first weekend, i.e. on the fourth day, the film collected 90 crore, 65 lakh rupees. In this way, the total collection of the film in the four-day long opening weekend became 324 crores (15 lakh rupees), while its worldwide collection reached 555 crores.
Kalki surpasses Fighter in the first week
The 'Kalki' Hindi film collected Rs 162.80 crore in Kalki's first week in India. In this case, the Kalki surpassed the first weeks of business of 'Fighter'. The fighter had collected Rs 146.50 crore in the first week.
About the highest-grossing films worldwide
With the speed at which Kalki is running at the box office, it is speculated that the film can be included in the list of the top 10 films. Currently, Prabhas's Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion is at the second position in this list. To be included in this list, the film still needs 217 crores worldwide, which is likely to be earned in the second weekend.
