WhatsApp, a well-known instant messaging app, continues to add new features to enhance the overall user experience. The Meta-owned platform is currently working on an edit message feature, according to a new online report. Users will be able to edit messages they have already sent with the upcoming WhatsApp feature.

The Twitter account that keeps track of WhatsApp's build changes, WABetaInfo, has revealed that WhatsApp is working on the ability to edit messages that have already been sent. A screenshot of the forthcoming feature that WABetaInfo shared demonstrates that users will be able to edit a sent message for everyone The component is supposed to carry out for WhatsApp clients with a future update.

"As you can see in this screenshot if other people are using the most recent version of WhatsApp, your messages will be edited successfully for everyone in the conversation. According to WABetaInfo, "If you're wondering what happens to edited messages sent to people who use an older version of WhatsApp, this shouldn't be a problem because WhatsApp will likely release the ability to edit messages when all versions that are incompatible with this feature have expired." As a result, users will need to upgrade to the most recent version of the app in order to able to receive edited messages.

Users will be able to quickly and easily correct their errors without having to send any additional messages thanks to this new feature.
