Virgil van Dijk will be available for Liverpool's Premier League match against Arsenal on Friday, according to manager Jurgen Klopp, while Thiago Alcantara may take his place in the midfield.

Due to illness, Van Dijk was unable to play in the recent 0-0 draw against Chelsea. Klopp, on the other hand, pointed out that Thiago has resumed full training for the first time since suffering a hip injury in February.

Additionally, the manager of Liverpool provided an update on Luis Diaz, stating that the Colombian international is unlikely to play in the game against Arsenal at home. Before suffering another injury during a winter camp in Dubai, Diaz injured his knee in the previous match against Arsenal in October 2022.

Virgil, who had returned to training, was completely normal. In a press conference, Klopp stated, "The training of Luis and Thiago is completely normal."

"The plan with Luis is that he will be completely available for Leeds," reads the plan. Again, everything appears to be fine; however, it was a prolonged injury, so we must exercise caution. For Sunday, we probably won't involve him.

Thiago has a distinct appearance. He was out for a short time, has trained with the team three or four times, and may be available. But we need to see how he feels right now."

In order to end Arsenal's impressive seven-match winning streak, Klopp would want to get the best out of Liverpool.

The manager of Liverpool stated that he was not surprised by Arsenal's progress, given that they are now favorites to win the Premier League.

"They are a different team," said Klopp, referring to Arsenal's 11-year absence from Anfield victories.
