Atiq Ahmed's death: In all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, Section 144 was enacted.
Segment 144 has been forced across Uttar Pradesh following the homicides of hoodlum turned-lawmaker Atiq Ahmed and his sibling Ashraf on Saturday night.
Following the shooting deaths of Atiq Ahmed and his brother on Saturday by three individuals, prohibitive orders have been issued in all districts of Uttar Pradesh under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
Atiq Ahmed, a gangster who became a politician, and Ashraf Ahmed were shot to death while they were being taken to the doctor for tests. In Prayagraj, the two were killed in front of cameras.
Following the incident, the district as a whole is on high alert, and additional forces, such as the Rapid Action Force (RAF), have been stationed in the Prayagraj districts nearby.
Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were brought to the hospital for treatment. While Atiq and Ashraf were giving a media briefing, three media representatives arrived and fired at them, resulting in their deaths. There have been three arrests; They are being inquired about. According to the news agency ANI, Prayagraj Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma was quoted as saying that a constable was shot and that a journalist was hurt when he fell.
