UAE Pavilion at the Venice Biennale Opening doors to tourists
April 20 (ANI/WAM) in Venice, Italy: Under the direction of artistic curator Tarek Abou El Fetouh, the National Pavilion UAE at the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition opened its doors today, inviting visitors to delve into the artistic realms of Abdullah Al Saadi in an enthralling exhibition titled "Abdullah Al Saadi: Sites of Memory, Sites of Amnesia," which unfolds like a story containing many chapters.
The Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition is open until November 24, 2024, and it features 87 national participants from around the globe in addition to a large international involvement.
With the artistic endeavors of Emirati artist Abdullah Al Saadi in his naturalistic travels, the National Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates illustrates the extension of Emirati art origins to the depths of Arab history. Eight of Al Saadi's hundreds of creative pieces—created during his travels across nature—are on display in this exhibition.
"We anticipate that the exhibition entitled Abdullah Al Saadi: Sites of Memory, Sites of Amnesia will garner interest and prompt visitors to reflect on the origins of inspiration for Arabs to employ language in a creative and captivating way, in addition to recalling the traditions of poetry writing from the depths of genuine Arab history," stated Tarek Abou El Fetouh.(WAM/ANI)
